I'm a long time DIYer and have decided to share my skill with others. I've chosen to work with pallets and other reclaimed material because, well, let's face it, there's an abundance of it that is discarded, left to rot and taking up space in landfills. So much of whats out there is either not real wood, wood fiber (full of nasty resins) or made overseas. Even if its made from pallets, its solid wood, made by hand, near where you live. Isn't that a better alternative than the big box stores. Also, lets say you have an idea or you've seen a picture of something you would really like...chances are, I can build it.
